# Token IP Allowlist Issue and Temporary Workaround

⚠️ **IP allowlist reminder: customers who temporarily removed their allowlist should restore the original configuration.**

Following the October 26 emergency migration, the reverse proxy mechanism affected IP allowlist validation, causing some previously working tokens with allowlists configured to return `401`.

This notice originally described temporarily removing the affected token's IP allowlist as a workaround. That instruction is retained here as historical context, rather than current guidance to remove access restrictions.

**If you temporarily removed your IP allowlist because of `401` errors, please restore the original configuration promptly to reinstate access restrictions and protect your token.**
